Prague
Prague`s historical centre has an area of 866ha (Hradcany and Prague Castle, Malá Strana, the Old Town including Charles Bridge and Josefov, the New Town and Vyšehrad). Since1992 it has been listed by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site.
Typical for Prague city centre are its winding lanes and buildings in every possible architectural style: Romanesque rotundas, Gothic cathedrals, Baroque and Renaissance palaces, art nouveau, neo-classical, cubist and functionalist houses and contemporary structures.
Basilica and Convent of St George
The Basilica of St George (built in 920) is one of the most famous monuments in Prague.

Church of St Nicholas in Malá Strana
The Jesuit Church of St Nicholas was completed in the mid 18th century. The interior of the church is an example of architecture based on interconnected geometrical shapes. The decoration is the epitome of the Baroque style. The tower of the Church of St Nicholas is also an interesting place worth visiting.

The Clementinum is the largest complex of buildings in Prague after Prague Castle. Originally a Jesuit monastery, it now houses the National Library.
Loreta
The Loreta gets its name from the Italian pilgrimage site called Loreto, where the Santa Casa can be found. The Santa Casa is decorated with marble reliefs and can be found in the middle of the central courtyard surrounded by six chapels.
Malá Strana Bridge Towers
The towers guard the entrance to Charles Bridge on the left bank of the River Vltava. The smaller Romanesque tower dates back to the 12th century, the taller Gothic tower mirrors the style of the Old Town Bridge Tower opposite and was built in the late 15th century.
Malostranské square
Malostranské Square - is the main pizza in Malá Strana, dominated by the Baroque Church of St Nicholas.
National Museum
The National Museum - the largest and oldest Czech museum housed in a neo-Renaissance building which dominates the upper end of Wenceslas Square.

Nerudova Street

Astronomical Clock
The Old Town Astronomical Clock dating from the 15th century is one of the most treasured and best-known of Prague historical sites. It can be found on the side of the Gothic toner of the Old Town Hall. The Astronomical Clock is a one of the best examples of Czech Gothic technology and a prized work of art.
Kinský Palace
The Kinský Palace dating from the mind 18th century and situated on the Old Town Square houses part of the National Gallery. The exhibition focuses on Landscapes in Czech Art from the 17th to the 20th century.
Palace Gardens
On the southern slopes leading down from Prague Castle there is a group f gardens formed by 5 palace gardens - the Ledeburg garden, Leader Palffy Garden, the Greater Palffy Garden, the Kolovrat Garden and the Leader Fürstenberg Garden. All of these gardens are interconnected.
Petøín

The Old Town Square is the oldest and most important square in Prague historical centre. It developed from the 10th century onwards as a marketplace at the crossroads of several European trade routes. The square boasts some of Prague most prized architecture.
Old Jewish Cemetery
The Old Jewish Cemetery is the oldest surviving Jewish Burian ground in the world, founded in the early 15th century.
State Opera
The State Opera was built in the neo-Renaissance style in 1888. With its spacious auditorium and neo-Rococo decor i tis one of the most beautiful theatre building in Europe.
